2019 Summer Coding camps

Summer Camp Enrollment
Please complete the three-step process for registration and purchasing your camp:
Step 1: Select the camp and options you'd like to partake in and add them to your camp cart
Step 2: Click Complete Registration at the bottom of the screen and go through the check-out process to finalize and pay.
Step 3: Complete the “2019 Summer Camp Registration From” found at the top of the page. This form must be completed to enroll your child in camp.
Date: June 17 to June 21
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
This class is designed for kids aging 7~10. Kids will learn through numerous practical projects and fun activities, including art, games, animation, music, and sound. In this class, kids will learn how to build cool projects using the Scratch programming language. Programs are made by dragging together ready-made blocks of instruction code to control colorful characters called sprites. Kids will be having lots of fun while learning how to code.
Date: June 24 to June 25
This class is designed for kids aging 7~10. With the concept of scientific application, Kids will code and build real-world products. In this class, the science concept and math application will be introduced to our kiddos. By learning elementary mechanisms, powered machines and coding skills, kids could solve the problem creatively.
Date: July 1 to July 5, with July 4 excluded
The three-dimensional (3D) printing creative design course is designed for kids aging 7~10. This is a product-oriented class. 3D printing is a layer-by-layer manufacturing process. Kids will learn how to use TinkerCAD to create 3D models, and how to use 3D scanner to obtain the geometry of the objects. A final project (super hero team) will be assigned to kids for design a scientific products creatively.
Date: July 8 to July 12
This class is designed for kids aging 7~10. Kids will work on different hands-on projects individually as well as collaboratively in a group. The projects including building, verbal and building/verbal. Kids should have a lot of fun in a variety of games and projects. These practices would help to fly their creativity and fuel their imaginations.
Date: July 15 to July 19
The web design class is designed for kids aging 10+. The kids will learn how to use WordPress and basic HTML to create websites. WordPress is powering more than 32% of all the websites worldwide. It is easy to learn and is the most fast and convenient tool to make functional and professional websites. Kids will also learn some HTML programming through the WordPress learning. Kids will make their own personal websites as the class projects.
Date: July 22 to July 26
Python is the most popular language for Artifical Intellegence (AI). It is a very good coding language after scratch learning. This class is targeting kids aging 10+. Python is named after the popular British comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus. It is a text-based programming language. It is extremely versatile and can be used to make different types of programs, such as apps, games, and websites. As a general-purpose programming language, Python has various applications in the fields of business, medicine, science, and media.
